x factor Newsflash

Another successful X Factor Night, with fundraising at an all time record, over £3000, exact amount to be confirmed.

We will be buying an outdoor Table Tennis Table, Tennis Score Markers and a Basketball Hoop with proceeds, and of course 50% is going to Children in Need.

We can only organise this event with the help and support of all members, Keith Kennard for his great help on sound, Dave Bray & St Francis School for lending us the stage and seating, Mike Stafford for Transport, Colin Armstrong for printing and all donators of prizes, Janine for managing to get Nadal to donate, a great effort! Bea Fryer for giving up her 02 Tennis tickets, Theresa Flay for donating her Henman shirt, Miles Hill from infamous Chelsea Harbour Club for his Spa Day, all coaches and PT staff, Di and Natalie and all local businesses, Moo Moo’s, The Barge, Mughal Dynasty, Sweatshop, Sir Thomas Wyatt Beefeater, The Retreat and Studio 90.

Thank you to all bidders in the auction, which raised a record £2465, and thanks to Jason who was a great Auctioneer!

And of Course the Contestants and Judges, who without them there would be no X Factor, Glenn Harold for donating the recording studio prize.

Another Thank you to all helpers in the run up and on the night, Vicky Spice, Ann Bishop, Liz Bennett, Judith Cramer-Todd, all cake makers… the list is endless!
