Pre-school multi sports skills TBA
Tuesday 1.20 – 2pm, Pre-School Mini Tennis,
10 weeks September 29th Start date £40
Thursday Beginners aged 9 – 14yrs, MLTC 4 – 5pm,
01st October 10 week course £50
Saturday at LA Fitness, 4.20 – 5.20 for ages 7 and 8 year olds,
start date to be advised, please contact us if you are interested.

NEW Reception and Year 1 Courses starting September

Saturdays 1pm, 1.40pm and 4.20pm, sessions run for 40 minutes.
There will be ONLY 16 places available in each session
£48 for the 12 week Saturday course
Courses will start Saturday the 12th of September 2009

Recent MTA successes

Congratulations to Steven
Steven Blythe will represent Kent in the national finals of the HSBC Road to Wimbledon National 14 and Under Challenge. The event is the largest national junior grass court tournament of its kind where a total of 128 junior players from 44 counties will be vying for the boys’ and girls’ singles titles.

Hard Work and Practice pays off for our younger ones

Well done Lydia, Lucy,Luca,Liam,Phoebe,Summer,Harry and Tilly for recently being invited to county camps. A fun day was had by all and we are sure they took the opportunity to improve their skills.

NIALL STUART WINNER 2ND WEEK. WELL DONE FOR IMPROVING SERVE.

HENRY CRAMER TODD 3RD WEEK SHOWED GREAT TEAM SPIRIT AND TRIED HIS HARDEST ALL NIGHT.

JACK HIPWOOD 4TH WEEK TRIED HIS BEST ALL NIGHT AND MADE IT TOUGH FOR HIS OPPANANTS.


MTA Winter Awards 2008

MTA Tennis Awards 08On sunday 21st of december over 60 of you took part in a fun day of beat the older one at short tennis, speed skipping, devour the buffet, kick the coach in football! and man hunt!

A big thank you to all parents who helped with supplying food particularly Tracy, Vicki and Adelle. And Sarah Blassdale who stayed up late baking loads of cakes.

The whole feel of the day underlined what we the MTA are about. "The forehands and backhands will come when we surround ourselves with fun, lots of hard practice practice practice kids that love tennis, supportive parents and coaches".

More thanks must go to the coaches no longer at the club but who helped getting the fly wheel moving with their enthusiasm and expertise - Lee , Matt and Simon. It was such a huge task for the coaches to choose the awards as so many of you have put in the hours and improved greatly.

Special recognition awards went to Matt Brown for his tactical display in final of under 12 county finals. Gabby Paul for breaking into the top 10 in the country rankings. Daniel Creasey for his unwavering dedication to helping you all improve before he went to university and finally to "Grandad" for his warmth, generosity and help he gives to all.
