MTA Winter Awards 2008
On
sunday 21st of december over 60 of you took part in a fun
day of beat the older one at short tennis, speed skipping,
devour the buffet, kick the coach in football! and man hunt!
A big thank you to all parents who helped with supplying
food particularly Tracy, Vicki and Adelle. And Sarah Blassdale
who stayed up late baking loads of cakes.
The whole feel of the day underlined what we the MTA are
about. "The forehands and backhands
will come when we surround ourselves with fun, lots of hard
practice practice practice kids that love tennis, supportive
parents and coaches".
More thanks must go to the coaches no longer at the club
but who helped getting the fly wheel moving with their enthusiasm
and expertise - Lee , Matt and Simon. It was such a huge
task for the coaches to choose the awards as so many of
you have put in the hours and improved greatly.
